You are invited to an exciting evening at the interface between art and science: 'A shot in the Dark' is an award-winning art installation that is currently on display at the foyer of the TUM Physics Department on the Campus Garching.

The Portuguese artist Diogo da Cruz interprets the CRESST experiment for the search for dark matter at the Gran Sasso underground laboratory as a new type of photographic camera and also reflects on the overarching general difficulty of discovering absolute truths. This evening you can get to know the perspective of an artist and an astroparticle physicist on experiments to search for dark matter and discuss with Diogo da Cruz and Prof. Stefan Schönert (TUM).
